MASSAGE CERTIFICATION - THE HEALING LOOP PROGRAM

We started with the Washington State Massage Board requirements and then asked “What would you, motivated students, want and what can we add to put you far ahead of the pack when you graduate?” So here is what you will receive by attending BIOM.

In addition to the Board’s requirements, you will receive additional in-depth education in Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology, and Pathology. Also, your Massage As Your Business course, which teaches you how to develop and run your practice as a professional or be a valuable contribution to any clinic, has been enhanced. We have added Change Tech, the latest in processes that give you the ability to make permanent changes in your life. Understand how your brain actually works and how to tweak it to your satisfaction.

Also, you will learn a wide variety of advanced massage modalities, which prepare you to jump into any part of the massage field with confidence. Take part in our Master Series, along with practicing professionals, to learn a wide additional variety of skills and techniques before you graduate. A few of the advanced techniques you will learn are Reiki, Pregnancy Massage, Lomilomi, Thai Massage and Lymphatic Drainage. We have designed our program with working professionals in mind. You will meet 3-4 evenings a week and on selected weekends. You will be in class for 3 or 4 hours depending upon the subject you are studying during the week. The weekends are  Saturday and Sunday for the advanced techniques described on the Continuing Education page. You will be attending only Saturday or Sunday for the weekend Student Clinics.

Our program is not for everyone. It is not for those who wish an easy way to a license but it is for those who want an extraordinary education. It is definitely doable for those with the focus and dedication necessary to become massage therapists. Our graduates have attended while working full time, attending CWU, and or raising children.

DUAL CERTIFICATION

Think of all the ways having certification in Massage and Esthetics will serve you. With the rise of spas around the country, it just makes sense to be doubly employable and twice as valuable to an employer. Consider the level of service you will be able to give in your own business. Have elevated training in both Massage and Esthetics, all in the same time it will take you to get a certification in Massage.
